Walking and driving instructions

Wannon Falls is roughly a 15 minutes’ drive away from Hamilton. From Hamilton Town Centre head west on the B160. Follow the highway for 18 km, then turn left onto Camerons Rd (signed as ‘Wannon Falls Scenic Reserve’). Follow this road for the next 950 until you reach a huge car park. The road surface is sealed.

There are BBQ area, toilets and other facilities available here.

It is a short walk (2 minutes) from the parking to the upper viewing platform. Accessible for a wheelchair. Unfortunately, the base of the fall is not accessible. If you have time, do a short walk upstream and enjoy the beauty of the river.

Wannon Falls is a permanent waterfall, but really impressive after rains.

The falls can also be seen from a distance from a carpark on Morgiana Rd. There are no facilities here.
