Walking and driving instructions
Browns Falls is roughly a 35 minutes’ drive away from Warwick, or 2hours 15minutes’ from Brisbane. From Warwick head south-east on Warwick Killarney Rd until you reach Killarney. Turn right onto Willow St, then left onto Acacia St, which becomes Border Rd. After 4.3km turn left onto Spring Creek Rd and follow it for the next 2.5km. The Browns Falls Picnic Area is on your left immediately past the bridge over Spring Creek. The road is a sealed one. The car park has a few dedicated spaces as well as all sorts of facilities, including toilets, picnic tables, BBQ and kids playground. From the parking cross the road, then descend to the Spring Creek. As soon as you reach the creek the walking path almost disappears, so you’ll need to follow the creek upstream. You will reach tall and stunning Browns Falls within 20 minutes. The creek could be impassable after/during heavy rain. Return via the same route. Browns Falls is a permanent waterfall. Beautiful all year round. |
