Walking and driving instructions
Queen Mary Falls is roughly a 40 minutes’ drive away from Warwick, or 2hours 10minutes’ from Brisbane. From Warwick head south-east on Warwick Killarney Rd until you reach Killarney. Turn right onto Willow St, then left onto Acacia St, which becomes Border Rd. After 4.3km turn left onto Spring Creek Rd and follow it for the next 6.8km. The Queen Mary Falls Picnic Area is on your left, 3.2km past Daggs Falls Lookout. The road is a sealed one. The car park has a few dedicated spaces as well as all sorts of facilities, including toilets, picnic tables, BBQ and even a campsite. From the parking follow an easy path which in 15 minutes brings you to two Falls’ lookouts. From here, you can either return via the same route (30 minutes total walking time), or continue the walk as a loop – descend to the waterfall’s base via long stairs and enjoy the beauty of the falls. If you have time, then we would definitely recommend to do this trail as a loop (total walking time is about 45minutes). Queen Mary Falls is a permanent waterfall. Beautiful all year round. |
