Wallicher Falls is roughly a 30minutes’ drive away from Innisfail, or just 20 minutes’ from Millaa Millaa. From Millaa Millaa travel 26km south-east on the State Route 25 (Palmerston Highway). There is a small parking area on your left (easy to miss) with track’s signs. The road surface is sealed.

The car park is relatively small, and doesn’t have any facilities. Picnic tables, swimming hole and toilets are available at nearby Gooligans picnic area (2km away).

From the car park follow a well-signposted path. The track, which leads to Gooligans picnic area via Wallicher Falls, branches from the main trail after 200m. Keep to the left, and roughly in 15-20 minutes you will reach Wallicher Falls lookout platform. Unfortunately, there is no official track to the falls’ bottom.

From here either return via the same route (40-50 minutes total walking time; official sign says '1 hour'), or continue on to the main train which brings you to Gooligans picnic area (one way walking time is roughly 1 hour).

Wallicher Falls is a permanent waterfall. Beautiful all year round. Best time to visit – Dec to Mar.
