Walking and driving instructions
Cora Lynn Falls is roughly a 20minutes’ drive away from Marysville, or 2hrs from Melbourne. From Marysville travel east on the Marysville-Woods Point Rd/C512 which becomes C513. In 16km you will reach a well-signposted car park (on your left). The car park has no facilities (no toilets) but has all the information and signs about the tracks nearby. From the parking cross the road and follow a signposted Cumberland Loop Walk (anti-clock wise). The walk is flat and well established. In 7-10 minutes Cora Lynn Falls walk branches off the main track. It brings you to the falls top in 5 minutes. Walk down the stairs to the lower viewing platform which offers you a perfect point to take photos and enjoy the falls’ beauty. Return via the same track (20-30min total walking time); or, what we would highly recommend’ return to the main track and follow it for 7-10 more minutes until you reach the Cumberland Falls lookout. From here, you can either return back (40-50 min total walking time) or continue on to the main loop track to visit 85-metre Big Tree. The loop walk brings you back to the car park in roughly 2hrs. Cora Lynn Falls is a permanent waterfall. |
