Walking and driving instructions
Snobs Creek Falls is roughly a 25minutes’ drive away from Alexandra, or 2hrs10min from Melbourne. From Alexandra travel east on the Goulburn Valley Hwy/B340 for 21km. Then turn right onto Snobs Creek Rd (well signposted) which becomes a dirt (un-sealed) road after 3km. After 2.5km on this un-sealed road you will reach a well-signposted car park (on your left). The car park has no facilities (no toilets) but has signs about the walks. From the parking, follow a well-established walk which brings you to the upper lookout platform. The whole walk is just 2 minutes one, but has some stairs so not suitable for wheelchair. You can see the full drop of the falls from the platform, but can’t really take any pictures. If you’re a photographer, we recommend to have a wide-angle lens. Return via the same route. From the parking, a 2-minutes return walk (on your right) leads you to the upper cascades. We highly recommend to walk to them. You can take beautiful photos and simply enjoy the beauty. Snobs Creek Falls is a permanent waterfall. |
