Walking and driving instructions
St Johns Falls is roughly a 30 minutes’ drive away from Sydney CBD. From the city center head north-west along the M1 and then M2, then take the Pacific Highway/A1 and head north for 7km. Turn left onto St Johns Ave. Leave your car on a side of the road near an intersection with Doyle Pl (1.6km). The road is a sealed one. There is no car park as such and no facilities there. From the corner of St Jones Ave and Doyle Pl, cross the road and find an entrance to the walking path (photo is in the Gallery), it's not Blackbutt Track. The track runs along the golf club and reaches the Falls Creek. There is an un-official path, just before the bridge, which leads to the base of the falls. Take extra care as the rocks can be slippery. Return via the same way. Total walking time is about 10 minutes. St Johns Falls might dry out completely. Best time to visit it after decent rain. |
