Walking and driving instructions

Gibraltar Falls is roughly a 45minutes' drive away from Canberra Centre. From Canberra Centre head south either via Tuggeranong Pkwy/Drakeford Dr, or via Yamba Dr until you reach Woodcock Dr, turn right and follow this drive for the next 2km. Then turn right onto Jim Pike Ave, and then right again onto Point Hut Rd. After 4.8km turn right onto the Tourist Drive 5/Tidbinbilla Rd and follow it for the next 6.5km. Then slide left onto Corin Rd. There is a car park there, to your left, after 7.5km. The road is a sealed one. Corin Rd might be closed because of the flooding.

The car park is a large one, and has all sorts of facilities, including toilets, picnic tables, BBQ.

From the parking a well-formed track leads to the falls viewing platform through the set of stairs. Return via the same route. Total walking time is 10-15 minutes.

Another walking track 'Gibraltar to Woods', which follows the Gibraltar Creek, doesn't have any nice view of the waterfall.

Alternatively, you can partially see the falls from the main road when driving towards the parking.

Gibraltar Falls is a permanent waterfall which flowing well throughout a year.
