Phantom Falls is roughly a 20minutes’ drive away from Marysville, or 2hrs from Melbourne. From Marysville travel east on the Marysville-Woods Point Rd/C512, then turn left onto Lady Talbot Dr (well signposted) which is a dirt (un-sealed) road. In 7km you will reach a well-signposted car park (on your left).

The car park has no facilities (no toilets) but has signs about the track.

From the parking follow an established walking path which is a gentle uphill walk. It starts as a flat walking track, then crosses the river via a foot-bridge, then climbs the hill and finally it becomes a set of stairs. At the end track brings you to a lookout platform. It takes roughly 15-20 minutes to reach the falls. It looks like the waterfall consists of 2 leaps, and only the top one is seen from the platform. You can see the top of the second one, but can’t take any photos.

Return via the same route. The way back is much faster due to downhill sections, so it takes 10-15 minutes to reach the parking.

Beware of leeches.

Phantom Falls is a permanent waterfall. Best to visit this falls is during spring.
