Walking and driving instructions
Collins Beach Waterfall is roughly a 30 minutes’ drive away from Sydney CBD. From the city center head north along the M1, then slide right onto the A8 (Military Rd) and follow it for the next 6.5km. Turn right onto Sydney Rd and follow it for the next 2.3km, then turn right onto Woods Parade, then on a round-about turn left onto Fairlight St which becomes West Esplanade, then E Esplanade and finally Stuart St. There is a dedicated parking, to the right, called Little Manly Point. The road is a sealed one. The parking is quite a big one, but has no facilities other than a walks' map. From the parking follow a well-established walking path (to your left) with some stairs, which leads to the Collins Flat Beach. A short (4-5m) waterfall is found at the head of the beach. Return via the same way. Total walking time is about 10min. Collins Beach Waterfall might dry out completely. Best time to visit it after decent rain. |
