Walking and driving instructions
Yowie Gully Waterfall is roughly a 45 minutes’ drive away from Sydney CBD. From the city center head south on the M1 then on the A1. Take Port Hacking Rd Exit, then follow Port Hacking Rd for the next 2.5km. On a round-about slide right onto Kiora Rd and follow it for 1.2km. Turn left onto Attunga Rd, then left onto Clifford Rd. Park your car at the end of this road. The road is a sealed one. There is no car park as such; also there are no facilities there (no toilets). From the end of the road, walk alongside the creek (upstream) for 1 minute, you will see the waterfall from a distance. It is more a cascade rather than a waterfall. Access to the bottom seems to be difficult. Yowie Gully Waterfall is a seasonal cascade which could be completely dry. Best time to visit - after a decent rain. |
