Walking and driving instructions
Irrawong Falls is roughly a 40 minutes’ drive away from Sydney CBD, or just 10 minutes’ from Warriewood. From Warriewood turn left onto Jacksons Rd, then turn right onto Garden St and follow it for the next 500m. On the round-about turn left onto Irrawong Rd and follow it for the next 500m. There is a small car park on your right (with a walk sign). The road is a sealed one. The car park is pretty much a roadside (unsealed) which can hold up to 3-4 cars. There are no facilities there (no toilets), but there is a park sign. From the parking, follow a well-maintained walking path for roughly 5-7 minutes until you reach the waterfall and a swimming hole with a sandy beach. The walk is very easy and suitable for kids, but due to some stairs not suitable for a wheel-chair. Return via the same route. Irrawong Falls is a permanent waterfall, but best to visit is after decent rain. It is a great place for summer swim. |
