Walking and driving instructions
Oxford Falls is roughly a 30 minutes’ drive away from Sydney CBD, or just 5 minutes’ from Frenchs Forest. From Frenchs Forest head north on Wakehurst Pkwy until you reach an intersection with Dreadnought Rd; turn right onto Dreadnought Rd and follow it for the next 250m, then turn left onto Oxford Falls Rd. There is a small car park on your left, 90m from beginning of the road. The road is a sealed one. The car park is pretty much a roadside (unsealed) which can hold up to 2-3 cars. There are no facilities there (no toilets), no signs. The top of the fall is seen from the road (from the bridge). There is an un-official track which leads down to the falls bottom. It doesn't look safe, so we even haven't tried to follow it. Oxford Fall is a permanent waterfall. If you’re allowed to fly a drone near this waterfall, then you will be able to take best photos. |
