Walking and driving instructions
Fisher Bay Waterfall is roughly a 20-25 minutes’ drive away from Sydney CBD. From the city center head north along the M1, then slide right onto the A8 (Military Rd) and follow it for the next 6.5km. Now you need to make a U-turn: slide left onto Sydney Rd, then via a round-about come back to A8. After 950m turn left onto Fisher Bay Parking (next turn after Avona Cres), or you can turn left onto Avona Cres and park your car there. The road is a sealed one. The Fisher Bay car park has some track's maps but no other facilities. From the parking, follow the Fisher Bay Walk (backward to the Spit Bridge) for 3-5 minutes until you reach the beach and a small waterfall nearby. If you started your walk from Avona Cres, follow a walking path (stairs) which brings you to the Fisher Bay Parking. Return via the same way. Total walking time is about 10min. Fisher Bay Waterfall might dry out completely. Best time to visit it after decent rain. |
