Walking and driving instructions

Carisbrook Falls is roughly a 20 minutes’ drive away from Apollo Bay, 40 minutes from Lorne, or 2 hours 40 minutes from Melbourne. From Apollo Bay Town Centre head east on the B100. In 17.5 km then turn left into a well-signposted car park associated with Carisbrook Falls. The road is a sealed one.

The car park has a few dedicated spaces, but have no facilities (neither toilets, nor tables).

From the parking, an easy uphill walking leads you to the viewing platform. Admit the beauty of the falls from a distance. You won’t be able to walk to the waterfall’s base.

If you’re allowed to fly a drone near this waterfall, then you will be able to take best photos. Unfortunately, you can’t extend this walk any further.

Return via the same track. The track is not suitable for wheelchair/kids stroller.
