Walking and driving instructions
Urquhart's Falls is roughly a 5 minutes’ drive away from Apollo Bay, 1 hour from Lorne, or 3 hours from Melbourne. From Apollo Bay Town Centre head east on the B100. In 5 km just before a bridge over the Stony Creek, you will see the waterfall on your left. There is no dedicated car park, hence if you wish to take photos, then you’ll need to park your car on a side of the road. The waterfall is located on a private land, so there is no walking track to its base. Please respect the private property and don’t attempt to enter without permissions. Walking option: park your car at the Shells Beach, and walk on the beach towards Lorne. Leave the beach as soon as you see the Stoney Creek, cross the road and enjoy the waterfall. Return via the same walk. Urquhart’s Falls is a permanent waterfall. Impressive after good rain. |
