Toonoum Falls is roughly a 1hr10 minutes’ drive away from Sydney CBD. From the city center head south on the M1 then on the A1. In Waterfall, roughly in 44km, take McKell Ave Exit (has 'Royal National Park' sign) which becomes Sir Bertram Stevens Dr. Follow this road for 7.2km. A signed car park, to your left, is on the side of the road. The road is a sealed one. Park entry fees: $12 per vehicle per day.

The parking has no facilities (nearest toilet is in Waterfall) other than a waterfall' sign board. 

Access to the top of the falls is an easy 1-minute' walk from parking, unfortunately, you won't see much from here.

An un-official track (roughly 5 min each way) leads to the bottom of the waterfall. It's steep and could be slippery, take extra care!

Toonoum Falls is a permanent waterfall (a gentle trickle most of the time as per the main photo); best to visit is after decent rain.

Note: We tried to find Little Toonoum Falls nearby, but didn't have any success.
